Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation

All tours must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

A booking is only confirmed once full payment or a deposit (if arranged) has been received.

Clients will receive written confirmation via WhatsApp or email.

2. Payments

Full payment is required prior to the start of the tour unless otherwise agreed.

Payment methods accepted: EFT, cash, or secure mobile payment (SnapScan, Zapper, etc.).

All rates quoted are per vehicle, not per person (unless specified).

International guests are billed at international rates to accommodate exchange rate fluctuations, insurance, and operating costs.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations to qualify for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour will forfeit 50% of the total cost.

No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

4. Tour Inclusions

All tours include private transport, a professional driver, bottled water, and fuel.

Entry fees, meals, wine tastings, boat rides, and other optional activities are not included, unless otherwise stated.

Child car seats are available on request at no additional charge.

5. Tour Duration & Timing

Each day tour runs between 6–9 hours, depending on the package.

Delays caused by traffic or client-requested stops may affect the duration. Additional time may incur an extra hourly fee.

6. Changes to Itinerary

Cape Luxe reserves the right to adjust the itinerary due to weather, road closures, or unforeseen circumstances.

Clients may request changes or customizations before or during the tour, subject to availability and time constraints.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients must inform Cape Luxe of any special needs, health concerns, or mobility limitations when booking.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The client is responsible for personal belongings during the tour.

8. Liability

Cape Luxe and its drivers will take every precaution to ensure your safety.

We are not liable for loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by acts beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, road closures, third-party services).

9. Vehicle Use

Smoking and consumption of alcohol are not permitted inside the vehicle.

Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers will be billed accordingly.

10. Photography & Marketing

With your permission, we may take photos during the tour for use on our social media and marketing material. Let us know if you’d prefer not to be photographed.

Applies to: West Coast Explorer (4 Days) & Garden Route Adventure (6 Days)

1. Inclusions

Each group tour package includes:

•Private transport in a luxury, air-conditioned vehicle
•Accommodation (shared room unless otherwise arranged)
•Daily breakfast and light lunch
•One non-alcoholic drink per meal (water, juice or soft drink)
•Entry tickets to included attractions
•Bottled water in the vehicle daily
•Services of a licensed, experienced driver-guide
•Pre-arranged activities as listed in the itinerary

2. Exclusions

The following are not included, unless booked as add-ons:
• Dinners
• Alcoholic beverages (available at client’s cost)
• Optional activities (ziplining, boat cruises, etc.)
• Personal expenses (souvenirs, snacks, travel insurance for local guests)
• Flights or airport transfers before/after the tour

3. Accommodation

• Accommodation is based on shared rooms (2 per room).
• Private room upgrades are available on request at an additional cost.
• Family/group rooms may be arranged depending on availability.
• Bedding, towels, and basic amenities are included at each accommodation.

4. Meals

• Breakfast and light lunch are included daily.
• One non-alcoholic drink is included with each meal.
• Halal, vegetarian, and allergy-sensitive meals must be requested in advance.
• Additional meals, snacks, or beverages are at the guest’s own expense.

5. Booking & Payment

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot.
• The remaining balance is due 7 days before departure.
• Payments can be made via EFT, SnapScan, or cash (by arrangement).

A minimum of 6 paying guests is required for the group tour to proceed. If the minimum is not met, guests may opt for:
• Rescheduling
• Full refund
• Private tour rate (on request)

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 14+ days before departure: 100% refund
• Cancellations 7–13 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellations less than 7 days before: No refund
• If Cape Luxe cancels due to unforeseen events (e.g., weather, vehicle issues), a full refund will be issued or an alternative date offered.

7. Group Behaviour & Conduct

• Guests must respect fellow travellers, staff, and property.
• No alcohol or smoking is allowed in the vehicle.
• Any damage to vehicles or accommodation caused by guests will be billed.
• Guests may be asked to leave the tour (without refund) for disruptive or unsafe behaviour.

 

8. Health & Safety

• Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for travel.
• Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility limitations when booking.
• Minor first aid is available on board.
• Cape Luxe is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or loss unless caused by proven negligence.

9. Luggage & Belongings

• One small suitcase and one carry-on per guest is allowed.
• Cape Luxe is not liable for lost or stolen items during the tour.

10. Photography

• Cape Luxe may take photos during the trip for promotional use.
• Let us know in writing if you do not wish to be photographed.
